New Additions

Meet the latest members of our furry family: Smudge and Mischa.

Smudge was adopted in July of 2010 from PAWS, a local animal rescue group. Smudge was a barn kitty whose mother hid him and his 2 siblings in between the walls of the barn as a protective measure after another kitten was taken by a farmhand prematurely. Unfortunately, the wall gave way and the kitties were stuck. Unfortunately, one kitty did not survive the accident. Smudge is aptly named due to the white splotch on his nose and mouth.
Mischa was found in a grassy area along side a busy parking lot in the IBM Poughkeepsie parking lot in late August. A few weeks younger than Smudge, "Beesker" is extremely friendly and is a good playmate to Smudge, as can be seen in the picture above.
