My little kittens...



Here are my new kittens, Frankie and Bella. They are brother and sister, and are about 6 months old. Frankie is the black kitten. He was named after my dad, and also my brother, because he's a bit on the wild side. Bella is the tortoise kitten, and received her name from Evan, my 13 year old, and Andrew, my 17 year old. Andrew insists on calling her "Isabella", but I think that is too long of a name for a kitten.

They are both a couple of characters. Frankie's favorite pastime is batting around wadded up balls of paper (especially the instant oatmeal wrappers), and Bella just kind of keeps to herself; although she is BONKERS over our older cat, Toby. Whenever he comes into her sight, she just can't keep away from him, much to his dismay--he is not really into being playful at all. He's more of the sedentary, Garfield type.

    I love the kitty idea. It would be nice to see more photos of the kittens with the children engaging in activities :)

    Hi Cathy - your kitties are so cute - I have a huge orange tabbie named Benny who weighs 20 lbs! He is nearly 11 years old.

    Your new kittens are adorable. Frankie reminds me of my cat Hojo who also likes to play around with balls of paper.

    These cats are so cute! I have three cats at home myself. My favorite, Fraiser, who passed away last year (he was 13!!!) was definately the Garfield type as well!

    those cats are beautiful- i love the coloring. I have a cat of my own named charlie who is ornage adn white- tiger striped. He is gorgeous.

    I do not understand how a name can be "too long" for a kitten. Bella also means "war" in Latin, so Isabella might be a better alternative.

    I love your cats! I have a cat back home named Scout! she is quite the character, and she likes to act like a dog. My mom is very allergic to cats, and despite this, she still lets Scout inside on her bed! And Ashley wants to steal your cats haha :)

    These kittens ar adorable! My mom just got a long-haired black kitten and a maine coone kitten...they so cute. I hope Toby comes around, although, he is older and he may need his space. Good Luck!
